Things I learned:
ULINE, Tim and Eric, and Nothing, not kids, money, accolades or even sex can make you happy in the long run, except yourself.

Your musings on catalog shopping were hilarious. I also order stuff from the L.L.Bean catalog and Lands End. Why? Who knows. It is the anti-cool, but it\'s really well made stuff and it\'s classic. Sometimes if you can\'t be cool go with classic. I don\'t even bother to try anymore with the cool. After all, a broken clock is at least right twice a day, but if you\'re trying too hard to keep up or be ahead of the cool curve, you just never get it right. The trouble is, lately I\'ve been feeling the perverse urge to branch into really unacceptable purposely ugly matronly old lady clothes from some of these catalogs my grandma used to get. Wonder what that\'s about?
Anyhow, I share your obsession with the ULINE catalog, and I think you\'ve got something there about the draw being smoething about the fantasy of total organization.
I have to disagree with your assessment of the pump soap, though. I find the convenience of the prelathered soap to be awesome. I even buy the foamy dish soap. It\'s nice to remove friction where I can in life.
A male friend of mine wisecracked that it that foamy soap had been around when he and his brothers were growing up, it\'d have been impossible to get them out of the bathroom. Other guys I know have tested this premise in the shower with mixed results. Just sayin.
