For more Marc Maron, check out the Music Life Radio podcast.

Marc Maron, comedian, and host of WTF Pod, talks music. Marc had a string of gigs at the legendary San Francisco club Purple Onion May 10th-12th, home to many famous comedians and garage/punk rock bands, and was able to swing by Music Life Radio for an interview. Marc entertains with stories of his favorite gigs, his love of music, and we get to hear a little of his own guitar playing (which is really good!)

So, I really don\'t care for metal. But for some reason listening to Brendon Small (who I\'d never heard of before) \"shred\" on Marc Maron\'s guitar made me want to masturbate. WTF?

Jesus Christ this is the first interview
I wanted to punch Marc in the face he won\'t give Small ANY room to talk, constantly cutting him off and injecting himself unnecessarily.

I think I\'ve listened to everyone of your podcasts and that was the best in my opinion. The guitar work from both you and Brendon was great. Brendon\'s tell of his first time on stage was excellent, funny as fuck. You may be able to polish this turd of a podcast after all. Just fuckin\' witcha, your doin\' great. Keep a wrinkle in it and I\'ll hear ya next week.

Always love the show, but being a Metal musician, this is my favorite episode so far!

Great podcast, Marc. Your guitar playing is pretty excellent. I had no idea you were that solid a player. I am a guitarist as well and for a time I really took it seriously or at least tried to make it my identity. After 10 years I am no where near the technical guitar virtuoso I feel I should be. It\'s all good--still enjoy it! A couple days after your podcast this cat comes by and blows me away with his guitar skills (a la Mr. Small).
I am of the mind that I use my ax strictly for art but damn do I feel bitter when someone shows me up with their technical savvy!

Heard you on Adam Carolla\'s Podcast and figured I would check out WTF... After listening to this one I will definitely keep coming back. Brendan Small was great and I was laughing my ass off listening to you talk to your dad.

You misspell Small\'s name in the header here. Only wish there had been more about HOME MOVIES.
