I don't think I've heard Marc laugh more than on this episode. Truth is stranger than fiction, no one could have come up with the stories that Big Jay tells.

agreed. and his disrespect for the strippers he worked with, referring to them as "animals" more than once. he could have been pressed on that, cuz it might be racist, but it's definitely dickish. but one good thing about the podcast is that you can like it even when the person being interviewed is a complete asshole.

Great episode, full of great stories - am I alone in thinking they would make a great movie?

Love the irony of a stripper's bouncer only getting hurt as a kids entertainer.

Jay struck me as a genuinely funny guy, but I found his open disdain for a generalized black audience to be more than a little offputting. I've never been in the venues he describes, but it seemed to me that he was unloading a lot of his lack of self respect on the audiences that he was pandering to, and I wish that Mark would have pushed him on this.
