I think I'll check out Paul's book. I wish there was more literature and documentaries into stand up and this community they speak of. Maybe I don't look in the right places. But where I live, there's not really many outlets to go and see and be a part.

Great interview, Marc. My friend Adam Harris just did an interview with Paul a couple months ago: http://comedynerdinterviewscomedians.podbean.com/2010/05/15/episode-57-paul-provenza/

Loving the show Green Room. Can't wait to read Satiristas.

I hope you checked for bedbugs at the hotel, Marc. :-)
It was interesting to hear Paul -- he's someone I'd seen occasionally but then lost track of (and to be honest, hadn't thought much about). I'd love to hear his current act. Glad he's overcome his stage fright to become one of the middle-aged statesmen of comedy.

Coincidence. Just yesterday I read an article in Mental Floss about the Chelsea's infamous ghosts.

    -Continue the awesome work, Marc.
