WTF with Marc Maron Podcast
Jul 12, 2010 12

Andy Richter talks about improv, Conan, sidekickery, weight loss and farts. And oh yeah, something about The Tonight Show and Jay Leno and TBS. Not sure what he was talking about, it sounded so outlandish. Plus, Marc has career advice for yoga instructors and supermarket managers.

Just out of curiosity, what's the song which plays right before the interview with Andy actually starts?

I asked a yoga instructor if he practiced at home. He said, "I need to do an hour just to get out the door!" Yoga is good, but it's goofy enough (in the US) that most people don't come to it unless there's some damage, some real need there.

This is incredibly late but I don't care. The Yoga bit SLAYED me.

This was a great interview! Andy wasn't a whiny little dweeb, and Marc, you were having fun for once! (Still measuring all the podcasts up to the Dane Cook one)

The depressed Yoga instructor was fart out loud funny! You rock Marc

    Marc,

Thru Andy I understand WHY EVEN THO YOU ARE A DICK, YOU ARE SO COOOL.

Your egomania is justified. Andy IS A GOD. I love you both, thank you for all the truth.

    Love,

    Tim

Richter is always a great guest.
Good to hear he's hopeful about the new Conan show. (RIP-'The Coked-Up Werewolf')

Conan's new show will do great, but I hope TBS puts episodes online. And I hope Conan brings on guests that are interesting, smart, or funny, not just promoting a flick.

As someone who was never a big Conan fan, I knew nothing about Andy Richter other than being Conan's sidekick. He came across as funny as hell, really thoughtful, and a genuinely nice guy. Good show, Marc.
