Marc, don't be so hard on yourself! It must be hard for you to quit anything because it seems like you're always thinking about the next thing and undermining your progress with negativity.

Handler has a Mirman-like delivery. Enjoyed the interview very much.

Handler and Gomez - two really fine conversations. Thanks.

Have you read Mark Bittman's book about how he balanced his weight and cholesterol numbers and general well-being? It worked for him and it's not punishing. Vegan until dinner time, then whatever he wants. Not sure how it works with the "shoveling in" thing though.

    " . . . i cant look anywhere without being smacked in my brain with abs . . . "

Good interview with Daniel Handler Marc - do more with writers and musicians please! You are a great interviewer.

I must say though, you got that almost-doctor on for advice and then proceeded to do nearly all the talking and you also denied him a chance of a summation . . . .

Way to go Maron, you self obsessed ego-maniac! don't ever change - it makes for great entertainment!

PS. Handler is right about six-year-olds. There are many, many reasons to hold off on movie/screen entertainment until after age seven. For instance, it can diminish their color perception for a lifetime. And more. Too bad more parents aren't as wise as he is.

Snicket author was a great guest.

Anyone else disappointed not to get a bit of post mortem on the Dane Cook interview?

Ballet dancing also objectifies women. Or men. Every form of dance objectifies the body, which is in fact an object. What a stupid complaint.

    Great talk with Daniel Handler!
