Marc talks child rearing, literature and go-go dancing with Daniel Handler, the author also known as Lemony Snicket. Plus, now with the nicotine behind him, Marc is fighting to take control of his food addiction. Almost Dr. Steve drops by to help analyze the cravings.
Have you read Mark Bittman's book about how he balanced his weight and cholesterol numbers and general well-being? It worked for him and it's not punishing. Vegan until dinner time, then whatever he wants. Not sure how it works with the "shoveling in" thing though.

Good interview with Daniel Handler Marc - do more with writers and musicians please! You are a great interviewer.
I must say though, you got that almost-doctor on for advice and then proceeded to do nearly all the talking and you also denied him a chance of a summation . . . .
Way to go Maron, you self obsessed ego-maniac! don't ever change - it makes for great entertainment!

PS. Handler is right about six-year-olds. There are many, many reasons to hold off on movie/screen entertainment until after age seven. For instance, it can diminish their color perception for a lifetime. And more. Too bad more parents aren't as wise as he is.
Anyone else disappointed not to get a bit of post mortem on the Dane Cook interview?
Great talk with Daniel Handler!
