Listen, Marc, the reason people give a shit about all this mystical bullshit and pseudoscience is that it can kill people. Mumps, pertussis, measles and fucking POLIO are making a comeback because there are people who don\'t believe in vaccines but do believe in homeopathy.

And it\'s got nothing to do with a lack of imagination. I\'m a fiction writer. I imagine tons of far-out shit; that\'s entirely separate from my interest in having a clear picture of the physical universe I live in.
