Really funny and enlightening interview. I hope Andy stops drinking.

I am pretty unfamiliar with Andy Dick's work aside from some of his small parts in movies, and of course News Radio. However, I have heard him on at least a dozen podcasts, this one included, and I think this was pretty par for the course. I think he's quite a fascinating guy. On the one level, he obviously accepts that he has drug and alcohol problems and he seeks help with a weird fame whore yet legitimate doctor. But he also really seems to not really accept his actions, as he glosses over his transgressions. Also I'm on speed and stuff so I might just be talking for no reason. I guess that's typical addict behaviour though, for Andy I mean.

It's nice to know that you only need to raise your children until they are 5. Andy didn't seem to want to take any responsibility for his horrible behavior.

This is the first episode where I've come away with less respect for the guest. Andy Dick is a sad individual in great need of help. He also seems to be an ass. Nice of him to call out by name the guys he used to sleep with in high school. I'm sure they appreciate the shout-out.

Marc,

First thing. Never buy a tool with a built in rechargable battery. I'm not going to explain this further because you should understand now. As for the toothbrush, I bought the sonicare that takes double A batteries, then I bought rechargable batteries for it. You eliminate half of the reasons to replace a $100 toothbrush. You better not be throwing your old toothbrushes with their built in batteries in the garbage either. They need to be properly recycled. I don't mean to condescend, but even liberals do stupid things sometimes.

Wow - I'm surprised to hear about Andy vs. Rogan (though I recall a few episodes ago Rogan saying it was in Andy's head). But Matthew and Joe had terrific chemistry on Newsradio, and despite what Andy said about the show being him and Phil, he and Rogan were paired up quite a bit too.
